Some people believe the benefits of studying business outweigh studying history. I completely disagree about this idea because of main reason.
I do understand those who believe learning business science can result in economic growth and flourish. The budget and income of a society is remarkably under influence of trades, level of importations and exportations and These componenents make a nation wealthy. Moreover Developed countries with aid of This knowledge can help vulnerable people to tackle the financial obstacles and poverty. There are so many underdeveloped countries which their people are under the pressure of proverty rooted from unqualified traders and businessmen. Teaching knowledge of business in their universities is a solution to overcome their difficulties in future.
However, in my opinion the advantages of researching history are more influential than business for one major reason. history is more holistic science, compose other sciences and business are diversed from it. When history is studied in colleges, other sciences are learnt briefly too among it, such as the history of economy, mathmatics, biology, etc. Then a person who graduated as a historian have a deeper understanding about the politics, economical and social issues, is more caple of adressing issues rather than businessmen. Governments who apply the historians in their political plans are more successful to reach their optimal targets. Iran is one of those countries which had viable revolution since its leaders used the best historians like shariati.
In conclusion, I accept that the beneficial role of business for every society is undeniable, but I believe the history could benefit more because of the reason I said.
