Some people believe that the increasing use of artificial intelligence in education will eventually replace traditional teachers. However, others contend that teachers will always play a crucial role in students’ development. I believe that teachers will outperform artificial intelligence by their own approach in education.
Firstly, in today’s rapidly developing world, use of artificial intelligence is increasing especially in education. To some extent, artificial intelligence will replace teachers such as, helps to solve mathematical problems. For example, it will explain university matrix problems without any difficulties. In 2022, DeepMind introduced Alpha Tensor, a reinforcement learning model that solved a 50-year-old mathematical challenge by discovering faster, human-unprecedented algorithms for multiplying matrices. It is designed for support to teachers not replacing entirely. It is correct that using artificial intelligence as teacher’s assistant.
Secondly, artificial intelligence will never fully outperform teacher’s approach in the future. It is undeniable that teacher’s approach is effective when students stop understand complicated subject such as, physics. Physics is one of the most difficult subjects to understand and students fall behind. Artificial intelligence can explain this clearly, but teachers have own unique approach to teach the concept interestingly. It can be game based approach, and it is effective for students who are low graders. Teachers are meant to educate students without getting them bored quickly whereas artificial intelligence can be too general sometimes then leads to boredom.
In conclusion, while artificial intelligence serves as a powerful assistant capable of handling complex problem-solving and technical tasks, it cannot replicate the human element of teaching. A teacher’s ability to adapt, engage struggling students through interactive methods, and maintain motivation ensures that human educators will remain indispensable in education.
