People have different view on whether young children should begin formal education at an early age or wait until age of 7. From my perspective, I believe that both going to school early and waiting until 7 years old have their own advantage.
On one hand, there is an arguement that children should not go to school until 7 years old to keep memories . This is because children will lost their childhood with friends. They need much time to play, to have fun, so they don’t have any memories in the past until they grow. To give a clear example, in recent years, kids are pressured , so their children don’t know how to play kids’ game like playing marbles, because of high score, it effect to children’s development. As well as, youngster’s mental will be further affected by school pressure. In Vietnam nowadays, most will be affected because fail due to their age. This can be demonstrated by some of students who study at the early agehave a syndrome such as score pressure, even low self esteem because of a high expectations for themselves. It effect hardly to their mental and relationship around them.
On the other hand, some opinion said that children should begin formal education at an early age. First of all, children should go to school before the age of 7 to learn how to behave early to support their parents. Their parents have to work and cannot focus on their kids most of the time, so they send them to school. For example, most Vietnamese parents send their children to school when they are young. They have more time to work, they have more time to recharge their batteries, and their children are not neglected. Furthermore, children can also discover their potential early. Youngster will have the opportunity to develop their talents and easily discover their potential. To illustrate, many Vietnamese kids are sent to school early by their parents to learn some basic skills such as Math. After a few months, those potential programs will be of interest to teachers to train children to choose future majors from a young age.
In conclusion, I believe that children can wait until 7 years old for studying, however I think that children should study before the age of 7 to add a basic knowledge and also assist their parents a lots.
