Some of individuals think that kids should be allowed to use handphones whenever they want. I partially agree with that opinion, and my essay will elaborate the reason why I do not stand in that side.
Many people think that smartphones should not be allowed for children who do not know whether the contents are good or bad for them. They still need parents to look after what they do. Nowadays, many contents are including something inappropriate for kids, especially for them whom under legal age. Examples can be seen in our environment where children are using social media without parents’ knowing, they start doing something illegal for them and act like adult, following the trend that is not suitable for their age, when they are just kids.
During technology development, some people are also willing to believe that phones are good for children since it can help them to learn something new. When they want to use smartphone, they should know how the phones work first, so that they know the step by step about technology. Kids also can gain new knowledge when they search what they want to know on their handphones. For instance, they usually have a big curiosity and parents can facilitate them with fun learning using the phones.
To conclude this essay, children are not allowed to use phones until they legal and know whether the content is bad or good for them. But they can still use the smartphones when their parents are keeping an eye on them.
