Band 6+: Some people think that computers are more of a hindrance than a help in today's society. Others believe that they are such indispensable tools that they would not be able to live or work without them. Discuss both opinions and give your opinion

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In this digital age, technologies such as phones or computers are becoming increasingly widespread. This causes two opposing opinions: some people regard technology as an inconvenience, while others express its significant role in their lives. This essay will discuss both views of this problem.

It is undeniable that technological devices play a vital role in our everyday lives. Firstly, digital devices make everything more convenient and accessible. With a phone, many people can send emails or messages to others with just a few clicks. People can also have access to a wide range of information on their screens without having to buy a newspaper or a book. Secondly, digital devices provide users with many forms of entertainment, helping them to relax. On phones or computers, there are a variety of applications such as games or social media apps like Facebook,

Tiktok, Instagram. People can use these applications to connect with people or to ease their boredom.

Although technology may be an indispensable tool in our lives, its downsides are not to be overlooked. To begin with, technological devices can be great distractions, preventing people from studying or working properly. Many teenagers nowadays have become addicted to their phones, neglecting their studies and thus failing school. Moreover, digital devices can have a negative impact on our health. Excessive usage of phones or other devices can result in eye strain, bad posture or even memory loss.

In conclusion, digital devices are both negative problems and an integral part in our daily lives. I think people should know how to manage their usage of digital devices to ensure a productive and healthy lifestyle.
