It is often argued that schools should move to digital devices such as laptops and tablets instead of the traditional textbooks. I disagree with this view because many students would not be able to fully concentrate on their studies and it will be difficult for the poor students to afford a suitable technological device.
The main reason why I disagree with this is that a student cannot study properly unless he is away from a digital device particularly cell phones. In other words, they will be unable to focus and learn in a better way. For example, if a student is studying on a tablet, then suddenly, he receives a text message from his friend. As a result, he will he distracted and his interest will be shifted towards something else.Another good reason is that by implementing the tech devices for the students, the uniform reading process like books will be disappeared. In other words, it will create a stress for the students who cannot afford a better device. A good example of this is a student from a strong background will have a unique and fast tablets. Therefore, it will create an envy among students and they will only focus on getting a better device than their classmates.
In conclusion, I disagree with this idea that the traditional books should be replaced with innovational devices because it will change the learning process, if they got distracted even with a simple text and there will be a competition. In addition, there will be no uniformity between the learners. That’s why, it is a better way to study with the old books while using the technology for getting any help.
