At this time, There are some discussion about the question “How goverment should spend their money”. In order to answer this question, lots of people believed that the goverment should invest more money in public transportation. However, there are also lots of people disagree this idea because of some reasons. And in this essay, I will discuss about the idea below and answer for the question “Should the goverment spend money on public transport”
At first, we have to learn about the advantage of spending money on public transportation to know why there are lots of people think that is good. The first benefit which I think most people really expect that is saving money for movement. As you know, the cost of using public transportation is not very high so you can spend less money than private transport. For example, the average of the money you should spend on the fuels to use motorbike is about one hundred thoundsand dong every week but if you use the public transportation , you will just only fifty thoundsand dong. The next benefit is minimizing the accident. Now, the traffic jam phenomenon is very a serious problem, it not only takes lots of time when we use the transportation but also make lots of accident. However we have a good solution to solve that probem. If public transportation is improved, everyone will use it more often and the private transportation will be minimized so traffic jam phenomenon can be less than before. The third benefit, the time can be reused. If the goverment spend money on public transportation, they will be modernized and the time which we spend on moving can be changed very much and of cource i think it will be less than before so we can save lots of time to use for another activities
However, nothing is perfect in every aspect so spending money on public transportation have some disadvantage. The serious disadvantage is making some serious problem for economy in some country because if the public transportation is developed, everyone will be used the private transport less than before. Therefore, some factory which made the private like motobike, cars, bike, etc can be closed because there are less people buy the transportation. The second disadvantage relates to money. If the goverment spend lots of money on public transportation, they will do not have enough money for another works like education, clothing, etc. Therefor, another works develop hard because there are not enough money. The third disavantage relates to the human life. I believed that when the public transportation is improved, there will be lots of people use them so the transportation on the road will be minimized. Of course if there are not transportation, the accidents will be minimized very much. However when they occured, the destruction is very serious. For example, on the bus, there are lots of people and if it collided with another bus, there will be lots of people lost their life.
After all, in my opinion, the public transports should be spent on but not much. Because i believed that the human which do not have enough money to use private transports can be use them to move to another place. The public transport can not be the most important thing but i believed that it is necessary and plays an important role in our life
