Nowadays, some people think that individuals shouldn’t study after their graduation. Others think that learning should continue throughout their lives. Personally, learning is an important part of human life, but it depends on a person’s career and personal goals.
On the one hand, many people believe that learning should continue throughout life, especially in certain professions. Scientists gain new knowledge every day, they keep in touch with colleagues, read many articles. Professional development gives them a chance to innovate, for example, medical supplies. Remember the COVID-19, scientists invented the vaccine because they studied literature every day and expanded their knowledge after their graduation from university, as well. This example clearly shows situations, where some group of people learning something new every day.
On the other hand, some people believe that learning should stop once formal education is completed, especially in certain careers. In the modern world, at the IT sector, profession as a project manager extremely popular. This is a person who discovering how the IT product can be implemented, they communicate with others professional groups, especially with a developers. If individuals want to be a project manager, they shouldn’t study whole their life, because basic knowledge from the first few years of university is sufficient. For example, right now I have a full time job as a project manager and I have an university life And to have a successful career in the future, I won’t need to engage in lifelong learning; I acquired all the necessary academic knowledge at the beginning of my university studies and am now simply supplementing it through practical experience. This is a perfect life situation, which shows that propose of study depends on the career goals.
In conclusion, while some believe that learning should end after formal education, others think it should continue for life. In my opinion, whether people need further learning depends on their career and personal goals.
