Majority of masses believe spending resources on libraries are a waste and that technological advancements such as computers should be provided with these resources. While others think the other way around. I will provide both views on the notion and examples for why I believe conventional libraries should not be replaced.
On the one hand, recent advancements in computers and internet fabricate the path to ease every job around the globe. These advancements show potential to replace the library culture as one can access every thesis and book at the click of a mouse. Therefore, plethora of people are advicing that instead of investing resources in conventional libraries, computers should take over the resources. For instance, it would be a lot easier for oneself to find any book with the convenience of sitting at your home and surfing through his computer.
On the other hand, certain groups of folks believe providing resources to the library should be continued as libraries posses great advantages. One such advantage is providing a seren environment which helps oneself focus and concentrate more and to provide an escape from all the distractions one might have. To illustrate, I felt an improvement in my studies after I started spending more time studying in the library, rather than using my computer. This reduced the distractions I was opne to and helped me upgrade my grades.
To conclude, the task of allocating funds should continue to run the libraries the conventional way. In my opinion, libraries are a great escape from hustle of city and should not be made to loose its originality.
