Opinions are divided on whether job satisfaction is more crucial than doing a well-paid job or not. While having a high salary job offers various advantages, I am convinced that the positive aspects of pursuing one passion are much more significant.
On the one hand, it is conceivable why making financial gains is prioritized by those who work. People hold a belief that having a high salary allows them to enhance their quality of life. This is because if there is a substantial income, a person can afford basic necessities such as healthcare, education or food. This would guarantee a high living standard and allow people to live life to the fullest. Another compelling benefit is that a good salary provides a sense of security and peace of mind. To explain, this would allow individuals to save for the future or any unexpected financial deterrents. Consequently, they can finally put their mind at ease as it is unnecessary for them to care about the things that has already been envisaged.
On the other hand, I still believe that it is more vital to do a job that a person passionate about. The first reason is that doing so would an individual to have better performance at the workplace. Since a person tends to be more dedicated to something that they truly desired and into. As a result, They would be more likely to accomplish their goals and overcome obstacles, which may help them to climb the corporate ladder faster. Furthermore, a person who derive satisfaction from their job are more likely to undergo lower levels of stress and burnout. To explain, job satisfaction, in fact, helps foster motivation and stimulate them to be more hardworking. Therefore, it leads to greater overall happiness and mental well-being.
