In this contemporary era, few individuals believes that governments should be more focused towards investing money only in to making the public transportation more faster. Whereas, others trust that there are many more things, where the government shoud focus. This essay intends to shed light upon both the viewpoints along with my opinion in the forthcoming paragraphs.
To embark upon, there are various aspects supporting the former notion. Primarly, it will be way more helpful for the public because it will save there lots of time which was spent only in travelling while going to work or returning back to home. Furthermore, more people will choose public transport for their long journeys also. To explain it further, they will prefer public transport more than their personal vehicle due to their reduced travel time as well as they will have vacant time also which they can use for their productivity. For instance, Japan’s bullet train is fastest train in the world. Huge amount of people prefer bullet train because of its fast speed.
On the paradoxical side, there are many aspects supporting the later notion as well. The government should reduce the cost which will be more impactful. It means, many people prefer budget-friendly transportation rather than faster. Subsequently, there should be large number of electric and hybrid buses, which can be very beneficial for the environement as well as its many natural resources can be preserve with this approach. To exemplify, a report was recently published by university of Toronto, which shows that developed nations have 87% public transport eco-friendly like electric buses and trams which becomes the reason for their low-cost transportation.
In my opinion, the government should focus on other aspects of transportation because it will be more beneficial for them. As they will get more advanced and budget-friendly public transport.
After recapitulating all the points, it can be concluded that, although, faster public transport will be reduce the travel time. Yet, the eco-friendly and budget-friendly transport will be beneficial for the public from overall aspects.
