It is true that money plays a vital role in providing happiness to people. However, I believe that, even when there is less money, people can be happy and there are many other factors such as good health and close companionship which act as fundamental factors in promoting happiness.
Although having money brings happiness to people, it does not necessarily mean that people with less money are sad. We can take example of many real-life movie adaptations where it is shown that people with more money have less time to spend with their loved ones and are always busy in their work life. Their lives lack love, togetherness and empathy for one another and are always living a hectic and a chaotic life. On the other hand, the family with less money seem to enjoy the little things life has to offer and enjoys them with their families. There is profound love for each other in them and they spend quality time with their families. This highlights the fact that individuals with poor background can also be happy.
One major factor contributing towards happiness is people’s health. Studies have shown that people with good health find their life more joyous and are greatly satisfied in their life as compared to people with tons of riches and a bad health. Another influencing factor is close companionship. Human beings are social animals, and they require good friendships in their life to combat loneliness and boredom life has to offer. For instance, trips with good friends in the wilderness is more happening rather than solo luxurious trips.
In conclusion, despite money being important for happiness, I think that having less money does not degrade the joy that life has to offer. Happiness is also affected by other factors such as good health and uplifting friendships.
