Nowadays, social media have become a trend among elderly and young generations. A section of society are in the thought that reading newspaper traditional way to stay informed news; however, others argue that there are alternative methods such as social media and television. In my opinion, mass media are superior and available. In the forthcoming paragraph I shall discuss both sides and give my own ideas
On the one hand, newspapers are the most trustworthy source of news. Most established newspaper, often undergo thorough editing and fact-checking processes, ensuring that the content is credible and well-researched. Unfortunately, this condition takes a lot of time so news is late. Moreover,most copies of newspapers are paid and people should subscribe to newspapers by paywells or require subscriptions. In addition, newspapers offer in-depth coverage of events with dedicated sections for different topics such as economy, sports, films, finance and so on. This allows readers to know topics in detail, fostering and deeper understanding of complex issues. Thus, many readers trust printed materials as more reliable source of information.
On the other hand, digital forms of news have become a popular among people because they are considered more effective for keeping people informed quickly. In other words, the internet provides both reliable and unreliable information quickly. The digital news can spread around the world and gives opportunities to know information anywhere without payment. In addition, the online platforms are allow readers to customize the information by people interest. For instance, through social media, users can follow news accounts or pages and receive updates on the topics which they are most interested in. Therefore, the digital forms of news very suitable and comfortable for users.
In conclusion, newspaper provide a reliable source of information, while alternative media have become more effective for wider audience.
