In the present days as the technology grow as well as the awareness regarding global warming, people have managed to create a vehicle with renewal energy such as electricity instead of gas. Many people think that electric cars will help maintaining the environment including the quality of the air, while others don’t. Personally, I think the usage of electric cars is indeed important and should be normalized in the future.
From environmental perspective, choosing electric cars will not only utilizing renewal energy but also minimizing the waste of pollution. Unlike conventional cars, electric cars don’t produce both noise pollution and air pollution that could endangered human life by affecting the quality of the air. For instance, city with high rate of pollution which most of them are coming from the transportation, like Jakarta, should formulating new policy about electric cars to tackle their concerns.
Additionally, from user perspective, electric cars are cheaper in term of maintenance. We don’t need worry about refilling the gas every time and the budget for taking care of electric cars is also lower than conventional cars. Some car brands, like Wuling, even provided free fast charging for electric cars which is a life saver. Not to mention, in some countries, tax for electric cars are not as expensive as regular cars. Thus, they are not environmentally friendly but also user friendly.
To conclude, as some people believe that electric cars should authorized in 2024, I also agree with this. Cars with electricity powers not only beneficial for the environment and the sake for human’s life quality but also for the user.
