Children can be influenced by anyone because they are still leanring, so they copy others behaviors easily. However, many people believe that parents have the most influence in child’s life, while others argue that effects from outside the house is stronger. I partially agree with that as both situations have a great impact in creating child’s personality. This essay will discuss both views with relevant examples.
On the one hand, parents play a vital role in shaping their youngsters personality. Guveniles tend to mimic their parents actios. If a father or a mother reads books or do something regularly, children will do the same thing because they take their parents as role model. Moreover, teenagers spend more time in home, as a result, their thoughts will be affected from their surrondings especially from the parents. For instance, a study conducted in 2019, showed that children have the same charactristcs as their parents.
On the other hand, some individuals think that the influence that comes from outside the home has a bigger role in child’s development. Children will learn many things from their teachers and friends in school. The information given by tutors are often to be beileved by kids and it is hard to change it if you want to. For example, many parents in the UK are complaining that teachers pass information to their students outside the syllabus which in many cases contradicts with these familirs beliefe.
In conclusion, although parents has a major effect in children’s development, there are other factors that could affect them such as schools and classmates. I think that child’s personality are built with the help of parents and the surronding community.
