There is an ongoing debate concerning about which type of reading is more important among children. In this essay, I will discuss both views and give my opinion.
Looking for children ages, academic books, far close to the recomendation from authors about age requirements. Since, they are relevant, education books such as academic ones, not harmful for young readers. It is because, every age group should immerse their mind with only things that are not that hard to understand. Take, for example, those who spend their time reading variety of books, majority of them tend to face problems with focusing. Unless, they reach specific age to deep think and discuss some topics related to politics, economics and etc. Although, even it might be tough for some children because of age issues to read other genres of book, I believe that not every child is identical to each other in terms of understanding.
It is undoubtedly not surprise that every identity has different interests and aspects of life that they think is also should be covered through the ages. Thus, also related to children preferences when they choose book genres. But, in this case, the meaning of this is that entertainment is another main part of knowledge process. For the reason that, it is actually hard to concentrate for some contexts even to adults themselves. And, adults tend to have rest when they have troubles with their work. If children will vary their book references, they eventually can balance education with relief from reading papers of book.
To conclude, I still deeply believe that apart from relevance of books it is more important to pay attention about the children’s fun during reading books in order to help them balance their reading.
