Some people say that family is very important for teaching children how to be good people. Others think school is more important. In this essay, I will talk about both ideas and say what I think.
First, many people believe that parents must teach good behavior. This is because children spend a lot of time with their parents when they are small. At home, children learn how to say “please,” “thank you,” and how to help others. Parents can also teach values like honesty and respect. The family gives love and support, and this helps children grow strong.
However, I think school is more important for learning how to be a good person in society. At school, children meet other people from different families. They learn how to work in groups, follow rules, and respect teachers and classmates. School teaches children how to live in the real world, where they must talk, listen, and help others. Also, teachers are trained to help children learn these things in the best way.
In my opinion, family is very important, but school is even more important. School gives more chances to practice good behavior every day. At school, children learn not only math and science but also how to be good people in society.
