There is a common belief that personal contentment is directly related to financial success, other people disagree with this statement and think that happiness is depended on other aspects. This essay will consider two points of view and explain why satisfaction of life is not related to money.
Some people believe that satisfaction of life depends on money because their current problems can be solved by currency. That is to say, people who think that way mostly do not posses an economic success and their financial problems are the most complicated thing in life for them. For instance, for person who cannot afford basic needs and make ends meet it is difficult to imagine life with money but happiness. As in their conditionals profit is the only worrying and desired thing.However, in my own view, though currency can close all material needs, it cannot help in a way of social interactions. Since, money cannot provide people with communication and love with others, there is no possibility that financial success would be a key point to life satisfaction and mental well-being.
Although, being successful in earning money is significant for all people,I do not consider it as a thing that provides personal happiness. There are a lot of important aspects of life where money does not matter. For example, a famous russian entrepreneur became sick with a cancer and was receiving medical treatment in German with the most effective medicaments for a large amount of money. However, despite his ridiculous wealth in the end of his life he has confessed that was extremely miserable all this time. Therefore, there are a huge amount of factors as love, friendship, health,which provide personal happiness and satisfaction of life, but cannot be bought for currency.
To sum up, although money can help to deal with many problems it is not a source of happiness. I belive that real satisfaction of life depends on other factors such as health, meaningful relationships with people and mental well-being.
