People have different views as to whether poverty plays a significant role in considering crimes. While there are clear reasons to this situation, I partially disagree that poverty causes most crimes.
Why do many people think that reason of many crimes is poverty? With the impacts of governments to society are decreasing, along with the advancement of poor education and phychological issues, have created an environment where a lot of individuals struggle with poverty. Given these circumstances, it comes as no surprise that poverty has become a primary reason in most crimes, thereby increasing the number of people who think that many crimes once did by poor people. A case in the point is my home country of Uzbekistan, where the majority of criminals live in poor environment, therefore the most part of recidents think that many crimes are concidered by poor people.
However, despite these reasons, in my opinion, poverty is not the main reason for many crimes, because there are also other factors like mental weaks and acquisitive. The advancement of modern technology, along with the proliferation of electronic gadgets, which cause to enhance degital knowledge. As a result, this lead to rise the number of virtual crimes, such as cyberattacts, cuberbullies and other cybercrimes. Gone are the days when robbers did robbery at the banks or people’s difficult projects were arranged with corruption, as today’s some crimes are considered online, while criminals may be at home.
In conclusion, although there are several reasons to this trend, I believe that poverty is not only reason for many crimes because of other factors.
