Given that the world is facing the deficiency of natural resources, opinions diverge on whether green energy resources should be used as an alternative for fossil fuels or not. This essay will delve into both sides of the conundrum before reaching my personal conclusion.
On the one hand, there are underlying reasons why some people believe that we should crack on using fossil fuels. The main reason for this thinking is that people are often preoccupied with starting new sources of energy and this is mainly because of the matter of pricing. They opine that when it comes to the matter of pricing, natural resources such as coal and gas are much better than green energy sources. In my opinion, this line of reasoning is not sound.
On the other hand, while burning coal or releasing gas is one of the main factors in causing climate change or global warming, the alternative sources are not. Consequently, the urgency of addressing these problems outweighs the cost arising in renewable energy. By allocating to renewable energy, we can mitigate the adverse influences from natural sources. Additionally, non-renewable energy is limitless and cannot fully stand the human’s demand. Meanwhile, renewable resources are not only abundant but also widely disseminated. Moreover, green sources generate energy without emitting harmful emissions or causing air pollution. As a result, by those means, I believe that we can deal with the existing problems in the environment.
In conclusion, I am wholeheartedly convinced that renewable energy outweighs the natural resources due to the environmental cost, abundance of sources and also the issues that arise to nature.
