Others argue that fossil fuels should continue to be used as long as they are affordable. In my opinion, I agree with the former thesis which I will discuss in this essay.

In many developing countries, building renewable energy systems is expensive and takes a lot of time. Fossil fuels are easier to use and already have the infrastructure in place. Also, energy from coal or gas is more stable and reliable, while solar and wind energy depend on the weather.
On the other hand, many people think renewable energy is the future and should be used immediately. One reason is that fossil fuels cause serious environmental problems. For example, burning coal and gas releases a large amount of carbon dioxide, which leads to global warming. In contrast, solar and wind energy are clean and do not pollute the environment. Furthermore, fossil fuels will eventually run out, while renewable sources are unlimited. So, changing to renewable energy is better for long-term sustainability.
In conclusion, although fossil fuels are still widely used due to their affordability, I believe that changing to renewable energy is crucial for environmental protection and long-term sustainability. It is predicted that more countries will adopt clean energy sources as a reliable and stable solution in the near future.
