In my opinion, I agree that school children should learn some practical skills like car maintenance or bank account management. These are important for real life and can help students in the future.
Firstly, academic subjects like math, science, and literature are important for education and knowledge. But, in real life, people also need to know how to manage money, open a bank account, or do simple things with cars. If students learn these skills early, they can be more ready for adult life.
Secondly, not all students go to university. Some students finish school and start working. If they know practical skills, it can help them in jobs and personal life. For example, knowing how to fix small car problems can save money and time.
However, some people think school time should be only for academic subjects. They believe that students can learn life skills from parents or after school. This is also true, but not all students have parents who can teach them, or some students may not have time outside school.
In conclusion, I think schools should give some time for practical skills. It can help students learn useful things for life. Academic subjects are important, but life skills are also necessary. So, I agree to a good extent that schools should teach both.
