In the contemporary era, along with the scientific breakthrough, human have invented social media which brings a lot of benefit to our life. In spite of that, some people assume that social networking site influence negatively on both individuals and society. In my opinion, I don’t agree with this statement.
To commence, no one can deny the significant advantages of social media. Thanks to it, people now can access to a variety of information. Therefore, with a smart device you can update the latest news which are called newsflash. Moreover, social networking site user can also build relationship and keep in touch with friends and relatives despite the distance difficulties.
Conversely, these days, youngsters are using it in a wrong way. For example, nowadays in many countries young generation abuse the social media, this can affect directly to their health and studying status. Additionally, when you are surfing the internet you can come across articles with false information which propagate about racism, terrorism,… This can lead to the disunity in society. Last but not least, social networking site make the separations between family members. For instance, people in Japan have suffer from an illness of insensitivity since they are using social media too much, thus the time that they spend to meet relatives and social activities is getting smaller.
In conclusion, social media is a great invention which play an important role in the society. However, it also create some social issues impact negatively to the community. Therefore, individuals should use it wisely and the government must take resolution in order to prevent everyone from the disadvantages of social networking site.
