Nowadays, some people believe that spending greater amount of money on wedding event, birthday celebartions and other celebrations is unnecessary. However, other people think that, spendig money on that such events are justified because it is related to social and emotional purposes. In my opinion, although these type of events are important in life, but people should avoid spending excessive amount of money on them.
To begin with, weedings are just organise for one day, and invest huge amount of money on that events is unnecessary. The primary reason for that trend is that a financial burden on couples and their family members. Instead of spending this much amount of money on that events, money could be used for more important things, such as purchasing a house, education, or starting a business. Secondly, expensive celebrations can creat social pressure. People may spend more money than they can afford because they just want to impress their relatives and friends. For example, A young couple might spends millions of dollars on a luxurious wedding, even though they are struggle to pay rent or save for a home.
Moreover, these events are essential and have important social and emotional purposes, so spending huge amount of money on them can be justified. Weddings allow families to maintain cultural and reiligious rituals. Next, it helps to bring families and friends together, and they celebrate and enjoy the events as well. Thirdly, it provides economic benefites as well, such as weddings provide income for restaurants, photographers, decorators, hotels, and musicians. For instance, in many countries events are not simply private events but occasions that bring two families together and strengthen relationships.
To conclude, I believe that celebrating weddings is important, but spending an excessive amount of money on them is unnecessary. People should celebrate according to their financial circumstances rather than trying to impress others.
