Nowadays, it is common to hear people say that getting a degree abroad is better than studying in one’s own country. This statement is important because a lot of students want study in another country. I strongly believe that is better to study in your country than go somewhere.
To begin with, one of the main advantages of studying in your own country is your closeness with your family and friends. This means that part of the students who want study abroad are not ready to be far away from their community. For instance, they are never been far away from home and family and they might don’t know how to make new friends at new place. As a result, it will turn out very tough and unrealistic for them.
In another hand, Sometimes it can be better to study in their own country than abroad depending on their major and career plan. Take a Law major as example, there can be a difficulty in job hunting in your country after graduating abroad, because when you studying at university , you learning about this country laws however when you come back home you won’t know anything about your own country laws. In addition, there can be problems if you want work in government departments after studying abroad. So, depending on your major it might be difficult to find job in your country.
To conclude, the main arguments against this are connected with your family and major. For these reasons, I maintain that sometimes it will be hard to study abroad and there are a lot reasons to stay in your own country however a final result depending on person.
