Some people think that intelligence can be defined by success, while others think that intellectual abilities are measured differently. In my view, achieving success does not always indicate high intelligence, because it is influenced by other factors.
Firstly, intelligence is not only knowledge and logic but also creativity and the ability to solve problems and understand humans. A person can be highly clever but not achieve advancement due to external circumstances such as a lack of opportunities and support. Furthermore, someone can have success thanks to luck and perseverance even if their intelligence is average.
Another reason why I hold my opinion is that everybody has their own understanding of success. For some, it is wealth and career; for others, scientific discoveries or creation. To cite an example, a talented scientist may not be famous, but his breakthrough can be significantly necessary for humanity.
Thus, success does not always show the level of intelligence. Smart people can be unsuccessful, while successful people are not always very clever. True intelligence manifests itself in the ability to analyze, learn, and find solutions in difficult situations.
