With, smartphones and other digital devices being ubiquitous people can instantly access news updates from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Furthermore, social media platforms allow individuals to engage in conversations by commenting on posts. For instance, individuals can tweet and retweet on any post related to update that is on Twitter to engage in discussions creating a more dynamic environment.
On the contrary, supporters of printed newspapers argue that they offer detailed coverage, analysis and credibility which other media may lack.
