Many individuals believe that the best option of running a small employment is to hire family relatives. Although running a business can be positive to trust each other, I personally think that members of family do not have enough experience to manage a business even damage them instead of benefit.
The main advantage of a family member is that you can trust them in everywhere that they will not betray you or lie to you. Family ties are essential for the people who take care of themselves. Since they have known each other for many years, they usually understand each other’s character and behaviour. This can make it easier to discuss financial matters and share responsibilities. For example, an owner may feel more comfortable allowing a trusted relative to do payments or manage the shop in their absence.
Family members lacking sufficient experience in business management can actually cause more harm than good to the business owner. Some owners choose family members because of their relationship rather than their ability to do the job. As a result, important tasks may be handled poorly, leading to financial losses. For instance, a relative with no accounting experience might make mistakes when calculating costs, causing the business to set prices too low.
In conclusion, employing family members is the easiest way to build trust and share responsibilities. However, hiring relatives with unsufficent skills and experience can harm the business.
