Some claim that the economy of the country is more important than the ecological condition, while others have opposite opinions. Although both notions have valid points, I believe that the latter one is correct.
On the one hand, economical growth plays a crucial role in the development of the country. First, the living conditions of the population depend on the economy. A well-developed economy provides people jobs and money. For example, the more the economy develops, more work places are created. Secondly, a well organized tax system can increase the holdings of the government, making public services more valuable. For example, government officials can allocate money to improve the quality of the service, local hospitals or airports provide. This way, the economy helps governments to increase the satisfaction of the population and defuses poverty.
On the other hand, ecology plays a more important role in the life of the population. First, ecology creates circumstances for the economical advancement. When the ecology is good, manufacturers and entrepreneurs have a great chance to succeed, because a wide range of resources to use are available. Secondly, a poor ecology forces massive deaths among the population. Because, air pollution and food scarcity will cause population decline. For instance, food sources cannot be replaced with the money. Therefore, ecology maintains population life and helps the economy develop.
In conclusion, irrespective of the fact, that the economy provides people with jobs and reduced poverty rate, ecology is more influential in the life of the population.
