In this contemporary society, there still remains a controversial topic about whether the government should invest in theaters and sports stadiums or not. It seems to me that everything has two opposite sides – advantages and disadvantages which will be discussed below.
To begin with, spending money on playhouses and sports arenas will bring great benefits to our community. Firstly, it has a big effect on our countries’ reputation. Frankly, competitive games such as football or swimming competitions not only help our countries win international recognition but also attract foreign tourists, ultimately boosting our economy. Moreover, drama halls are human’s “soul foods” and can have a profound impact on people’s lives. In addition, drama plays like “Romeo and Juliet” can be meaningful and help people understand complex emotions. As a result, it is worth providing capital for theatres and stadiums.
On the other hand, giving the investment in medical care along with education is beneficial for society’s growth. Frankly, people’s health should be the top priority, so the administration is responsible for constructing infirmaries in order to keep citizens in good health. Surely, the young, who are the future successors of the nation, should concentrate on imparting knowledge. For instance, by building more schools, the government can help the younger generation achieve their full potential and become knowledgeable individuals who can contribute to the nation’s progress. In brief, it will be best if the government prioritizes health care and learning buildings.
In conclusion, both ideas have their own benefits and drawbacks associated with both structures for entertainment purposes and healthcare along with studying. I am convinced that either concept can be a valuable asset as long as the public is able to benefit from it.
