Some people think that the internet has brought people closer together. Is what some people say but some also say that “people and communities are becoming more isolated”. Honestly in my opinion, it is true that the internet have brought people closer together about other’s traditions or culture’s. But, there is the nesativity in it.
First, the internet can indeed bring people closer about tips and tricks or even invest money into it. Such as starting a small business where people from other countries can see and finding a community of people with the same liking in fashion or other things. On the internet, we could even make close friends are mostly made or meet in video games or a community. It may be nice having online friends but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be careful. The internet is a easy place to fool people and false stories, if you aren’t careful enough then you fall into someone’s trap, the examples are scamming your personal data, black mailing and hacking. So is always best to be safe then sorry.
Second is about people being more isolated because of the internet. For me, I could say that it is true. Internet and technology have almost taken over the world which is good and bad, the good thing is that it could get very addicting. People or mostly teenagers get easily addicted on the internet about stories, news, which could lead to problems about mental health or bad health in general. For example, lack of sleep, time wastage, social withdrawal and so many more you could think of. That’s why is best to be careful what you see and hear whats happening on the internet, it could be false rumours or just acting.
