Happiness is something that only you can bring yourself. Happiness is a personal choice, some people think that the teenage years are the happiest times of their life while others thinks that adult life brings more happiness, despite greater responsibility and both of the views are correct.
One the reason that some people think that teenage years are the happiest is because they have more time and energy. Teenagers often try new things, they like to face new challenges, they are very energetic, they don’t have any responsibility. They can focus on their hobbies, friends and self-discovery. They do not have to worry about responsibility like managing finance, running house hold, etc. But they can also face academic stress which may affect their happiness.
While other people who think that adult life brings more happiness, despite greater responsibility is because they are more independent and can do anything they want, no one can stop them from doing things that they want to do. Unlike their teenage years where restriction might be imposed by parents or society. They can build deep and meaningful relationship with others. However, in this phase one does not have as much energy or time as they did during their teenage years.
In conclusion, happiness is something that depends on the person themselves and not on the phase of life. Happiness is influenced by the things a person does, the people they are with, and their surroundings. In my opinion, both the teenage years and adulthood provide equal opportunities for finding happiness.
