Although some believe that organizations ought to hire employees who are innovative and perform better in solitude, I agree with those who opine that individuals with teamworking aptitudes and compliant ones should be regarded more highly to occupy a certain position.
On the one hand, an independent workforce could make an exceptional contribution to organizational efficiency and productivity. Since they do not depend heavily on colleagues to complete their responsibilities, the workflow would become more streamlined. Consequently, there is a reduced need for extended discussions and compromising among multiple viewpoints. Moreover, individual performers often demonstrate a higher level of concentration. Working alone, they minimize distractions that could arise from group interactions, such as conflicts and contrasting work styles. This would enable them to devote their full attention to complex tasks which require deep thinking and problem-solving. Therefore, hiring such individuals can enhance both the output of business and employee concentration.
On the other hand, employees who are collaborative and obey instructions play a crucial role in maintaining compliance. When businesses recruit pliable individuals, they automatically reduce errors and ensure that tasks are completed according to the company’s standards. This is because such employees often carefully adhere to established procedures, which contribute to consistent outcomes. For example, in a manufacturing company, workers must follow specific safety protocols and operational steps. If these rules are not abided by, it can lead to serious accidents, causing detrimental consequences for both employees and the company itself. This is why I believe that recruiting staff who adhere reliably to guidelines is more beneficial, as it promotes steady performance and the proper functioning of the organization.
To conclude, while independent workers can enhance effectiveness and concentration, employees who operate well in teams and obey instructions provide greater consistency and ensure adherence to organizational rules.
