People have differing views as to whether the government should reward winner sportsmen more than those of educational competitions. Although the benefits of encouraging sports are essential, such as making the country more popular and respectful, I am of the opinion that awarding participants of academic tournaments has much more advantages, including advancements in every sphere.

On the one hand, the kudos of doing sports are beneficial for our overall well-being. Encouraging youngsters can be a way to a healthy lifestyle in the future, which can be made by granting other professional ones. The demand for watching is increasing year by year, and thanks to this upward trend, it is easier to gain popularity than it used to before. If the competent becomes a champion of a particular tournament, not only he, but also the native nation of them will be respected. Additionally, the interests of fans will lead to the country, which benefits the economy of it. Argentina is a good example of this situation. In 2022, the national club won the match against France. According to publicly available data, millions of football enthusiasts visited the country to see the original cup of FIFA (International Federation of Association Football).

On the other hand, the demand for brilliant scientists, doctors, lawyers, and others is rising. If the government inspires the youth to compete with each other in terms of education, it will cause them to excel in every field. Even though the participants could not win in them, the knowledge that they had acknowledged during preparation will be beneficial for them during their future careers. Having professionals in each sphere makes the state popular and stronger. For instance, the medicine industry is advanced in India; The country is well-known for its beautiful places and traditional game – chess. Everyone who has been diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases will go there, as the success rate there is remarkably high compared to other countries. There were individuals , such as celebrities and presidents, who wanted to reward the staff with billions of dollars for their hard work and enthusiasm.

In conclusion, while there are advantages of encouraging the population to engage with sports, such as a healthy lifestyle and potential popularity of the country, the benefits of promoting educational tournaments are much more significant, including developments in every sphere.
