People have divergent views about the government funding. While, some members of society , including myself believe that funding should not be used for encouraging art and culture, while others say that improving cultural activities may be benefical for population and the culture.
On the one hand, there are some positive aspects of supporting art and culture. Fuding art and culture first of all this preserve heritage and history. This statement helps us protect traditions and our native language. These are the main aspects of one single nation; therefore, it helps to teach and remind the next generation. As a result, our sense of patriotism will flourish.As a result, our sense of potriotism will be flourish. Secondly, economic growth if we support art and culture it helps to develop tourism. Moreover, tourists will come from other countries and spend money there. As a result, counry’s budget will increase and it leads to economic growth.
On the other hand, I think that the goverment and society have also another problems without art and culture. From my perspective, we should to solve these problems first such as unemployment and air pollution. If the government start funding unemploymet instead of art, we can solve many problems immediately. If the government open factory, among the population will be decrase the number of unemploymets. As a result, we will export some types of products to world and it also leads to economic growth.
To sum up, supporting art and culture is important, however, solving other problems is much more beneficial for the country and society.
