Some people believe that the government should prioritize its own issues like unemployment and poverty rather than focusing on helping other countries. However, I disagree with the statement citing humanitarian reasons. This essay will shed light on different perspectives and my stance on the matter.
To begin with, helping people in need is a basic human instinct. There were numerous incidents when people in different parts of the world needed shelter or other kinds of assistance. For instance, during COVID, there were several countries who were severely impacted, such as Italy. In times like this, it is the responsibility of other nations to come forward and help with full dedication.
Moreover, regardless of development status, any nation can face severe circumstances at certain times as none is shielded from natural disasters. To illustrate this, few years back, well developed nations like Australia and USA faced dreadful problems like forest fires and cyclones and at that time they received the aid from other countries. Therefore, it is imperative to assist the less fortunate whenever required as only then we can expect aid from others in our difficult times.
