In this day and age, there are numerous argumentative discussions revolving the issues of building houses. While some individuals hold the point of view that new structures should maintain the old styles in local areas, others believe that people have the right to be allowed to build houses any way they want. From my perspective, I partially agree with the latter.
There are many reason explaining why some people think that newly built house need to be similar to the old house. Firstly, keeping a fixed style helps the region to remain the ancient appearance, then a posibility of becoming a tourist attraction may come as a result. Take Hoi An Ancient Town as an example, it has become a well-know destination for a variety of visitors coming from all over the world because of the historical and traditional architectures and buildings. Moreover, maintaining the unchanging styles in building houses in the local may has the ability of promoting a sense of belonging. Therefore, conflicts that caused of jealousy or judge are possibly prevented, preserving the balanced atmosphere for the region.
However, evenwhen keeping intact the same style for newly built houses can benefit in different ways, I believe that people should be allowed by the authorities to follow any way to build their own structures. The primary reason behind that is houses are considered as kind of property so that anyone has the right to decide how to treat their property themselves unless the law prohibits. Moreover, some people dislike the traditional style because they think it is outdated and expensive, the thinking of constructing in modern mode is better for life condition and quality.
In conclusion, I believe both the arguments have their merits. On balance, however, it seems that people should not be admit to build houses in their own layout.
