I believe that it is reasonable for women to join army if they have interest in serving for their country. Many people disagree with it saying that service in army would be difficult for females. But personally i think they base this opinion by thinking that all of the people who serve in army fight in combat sooner or later which is not the case. In fact fighting in combat is just a single part of serving for your country. There are many structures in army in which you are not obligated to fight in combat. One can serve in army his whole life without ever fighting in a battlefield. As an example we can show the technical field in which people work with Computer systems. These people serve their country by defending it through their work in Computer technologies. On top of that they never fight in a battle which would be suitable for most women. There are other fields where people who are serving are not required to join combat like hospitals or headquarters of the army base. The staff that works in hospitals only treat those who are brought from battlefield with injuries and so on. So they are very unlikely to go to combat as well. As mentioned earlier people who work in headquarters of army base are also less likely to fight in a battle. Mostly their work consists of giving orders and managing lots of paperwork. Which again can be done by females. In these fields females can work as effectively as males in my opinion. But also if we think about females who fight in an actual war that is also a possibility in todays world. We see successful implementation of this in many modern countries such as Israel, US and etc.
There is also a saying that women sometimes excel being snipers rather than men. Some back it up by saying that as a sniper women tend to have more patience and can wait for longer durations awaiting their target. They also add that body structure of females also gives them more advantage than males in sniping. Also with sufficient training every person can excel in army regardless of his/her gender whether it is in navy or air force.
Ultimately i believe that ability to serve in an army whether as a non-combatant or in a battle depends on individual’s qualities rather than on his gender.
