There has been a group of people claiming that students should be like what students are supposed to be, such as being a full-time student without taking part-time jobs before finishing the middle school or senior high school. However, the perspective mentioned above is based on a student coming from a healthy family. There are more cases lacking sufficient conditions to allow students focusing on school work. Here are some further details to explain why I partially disagree with the content of topic shown as above.
To begin with, I don’t deny that it is necessary to be a full-time student due to taking obligations of being citizens in a country. However, different families have different situations, leading to a variety of types of students. Some might need to share households including financially support a family, while others are required to only focus on their own school work. Besides, some students might be more interested in courses involving some vocational trainings rather than academically pursuits. Under the circumstance, there are needs to some students to study while taking trainings in actual working places. Apart from the reasons above, the way how a society view the rold of student is also an important factor, which might deeply influence the young people’s decisions of being a full time student or not.
To sum up, it is naturally perfect if every student can completely focus on the shcool work without worrying other things unrelated. However, people also need to take more subjective factors having some fail to be full time students into consideration before jumping into any conclusions. There is not one way to Rome after all.
