A group of people believes that adolescents should earned a full time education until they reach more mature age. I would say that I agree with the idea of sending kids to obtain conventional education at school, in purpose for discipline and securities for the child. It has been known for over a decades that school is a form of discipline institution, beside its main purpose, which is to educate individuals. Schools has set a rigid time table that have to be obeyed by the students. For example, at what time they should arrived at school, subjects that have to be passed with decent grades and also the obligation to submit an assignment given by the teacher. By spending most of their times in an education institution, it will reduce the chance of them getting disrupted by negative influences outside the schools, considering that not every family has the chance to live in a safe and harmonius neighbourhood. In the early age, learning how to be responsible with duties given and interact with well-behaved people, is very important for their own self-development. Thus, they can be a reliable person who holds an integrity in the future. A full time education also open opportunities for children to get to know what are their interests by learning and joining activities offered at schools, such as: sciences, sports, arts or even poetry and literature. This would help them to decide what they want to do in the future.
On the other hand, there is also another group who thinks that education should not have always been obtained in conventional institution. Therefore, getting a learning-by-experiencea process is also crucial. In nowadays era, there has been a shift between contemporary values compared to old-fashioned ones, including careers. In the past, kids are expected to attend schools to become doctors or engineers, but recently, being an influencer or a youtube content creator is also a career to pursue. As a consequence, full time education is not a prioritze anymore. To help young people who has interest in creative industry or even sports world, experiences outside schools are far more necessary other than seating in the classroom. They can get a more practical experiences by handling a real customer or exercising more frequently in the fields which may not be accesible if they attend a full time education at schools. However, this would demand more supervisions by their own parents and not every folks has the chance to do so.
In conclusion, the main idea of nurturing young people to be a good person in the future relies on shapping their paths from early day, whether its in the form a teaching institution or practical activities outside the schools. However, I agree that full time education in schools guarantee more good values and safetiness for young people since we want to reduce an unwanted consequences of them being less educated and distracted by negative peers. It is also generally would be easier for parents, especially those who works full time, since they do not need to keep an eye to their kids frequently when they are also need to be focus at work.
