There are some individuals agree that government should finance the search of life on another planets. While some people think that spending money for the realization of such plan is improbable due to the reason that there are various problems that we need to solve in our planet as of this time.
Those who support the view that the government should allocate a budget to look for life on another planet point to the fact, there is still another world to continue our life in case, the earth will be in total deterioration in the next generations to come. Although the discovery of such planet could give us a light of hope that all the living creatures in our planet, including the animals, could still live in different world. It could also give us the opportunity to explore life and uniqueness of another world, and somehow, this might open up big transformations and new discoveries.
On the other hand, one of the major drawbacks of this perspective is that, we would probably forget to address the present issues and problems in our planet right now. With this kind of thinking, people will no longer exert effort to give solutions to our problems, especially in limiting the activities that could totally destroy our planet. Balancing the ecological system and keeping a peaceful place are pivotal aspects to consider in order for us to continue our life here on earth. Another problem it may cause is that, it takes up so much public finding and great utilization of resources to implement such vision. With that, the economical status of our place might be greatly affected.
In summary, although there are legitimate reasons to believe that spending public money in search for another life on other planets is has still is benefits, I do not subscribe to this view. From my perspective, it is necessary to first give address to the present issues and problems we are facing right now and we should hand in hand take restore the beauty of our planet, making it more conducive for learning and living.
