We humans have sent satellites deep in space, trying to understand the big, mysterious universe. With possibility of space exploration there are some people who wants the government to spend more money and explore life on other planets. While the others think it as a waste of money, stating that there are enough problems on Earth that needs that kind of money to resolve them. I would agree that it is better to spend money on earth for betterment of humans.
The option to fund life exploration mission on other planets is attractive for several reasons. This can possibly lead us to find better resources, which may help reduce the problems that we people face. Also, many scientiest who have been working on this research and have a theory ready would like to test their them by practical space mission.
On the other hand, many people argue that using money for space research would be unjust for the ones who are suffering on our planet. The fund that nations plan to use for something in which they may not suceed, can be used to eradicate problems which will certainly be wiped away, ending suffering and pain of all. They hold the opinion that the money should be employed in such a place where there are guaranteed improvements and alleviation in people’s condition. They believe in welfare of all who live on earth, they want government to help solve the prevailing issues, and suggests the public money from space budget could help here
For the reasons mentioned above, it seems to me that the public money whould be put to use to solve problems on earth, which could help reduce poverty, improve food security, decrease gloabal hunger index and increase the living standard of everyone.
