The term happiness itself is very contradictory. Happiness is the fundamental aspect of life but its sources are widely debated. Some people argue that happiness is personal responsibility given by individual choices, whereas others believe that external factors such as wealth, economic condition, social condition play a significant role in gaining happiness. This essay will discuss both perspectives with my personal views that happiness is a combination of personal choice and external factors.
