While some people argued that increasing taxes on junk food and drinks is the most effective way to maximise health quality of people, others said that it is not the solution. In this essay, I will discuss both views and give my opinion.
Burgers, soda and fryed potatoes are the most well-known fast foods among people. If the prices will be risen maybe some of them leaves without meal. For example, some people have no money to make meals and the only way is to buy fast food. However, adults whose children are young may buy hamburger or hot dogs and soda whatever happens. For example, my neighbour’s children are very selfish and cry when they walk outdoors, and she try buying everything they want to stop their crying.
Another part of people believe that increasing taxes on junk food and drinks cannot help to improve health issues because they have tendency to eat fast food when they are in a hurry. For example, I with my mates were eating fast food every day because we have no time to find something else. However, rising prices may be effective for some people’s health as they never buy it. For instance, nowadays youtube is showing healthy diet channels more and more, which is positive trend.
In conclusion, rising taxes on junk food and drinks may reduce number of consumers, however, this trend not always may be effective to increase people’s health quality.
