People have different views as to whether students tend to work or travel after graduating from their school before getting into university or whether work experience is more important than travelling. While having work experience has some positive impacts on students, I firmly believe that travelling after school is far more important.

On the one hand, those who support going to travel after graduating have several reasons for their opinion. One reason behind this perspective lies in the fact that it gives students a chance to live in different parts of the world. This is mainly because they experience different kinds of culture and lifestyles. As a result, they become more aware of a wide range of cultures of the world and gain life experience for university life. For example, if they have travelled before going to university, they become more confident in their future life, especially when they faced difficulties. Another significant reason is that traveling helps students clear their mind especially after heavy school pressure. In other words, students have a chance to prepare themselves for academic pressure at university. Therefore, travelling is a perfect way to relieve stress caused by schools.

On the other hand, proponents of opposing view argue that after graduating argue career is far more essential than travelling. To begin with, it opens doors to many opportunities by having work experience after leaving the school. This can be attributed to the fact that students who have work experience may work at their field, despite not having a diploma. Consequently, they would achieve financial independence and gain more work experience in the long run. For instance, if students work before universities, they can cover their daily expenses, without relying on their family budget and have fundamental things for their future career.

In conclusion, it is true that work experience has a positive impact on students’ future career and it supports students from a financial perspective. However, I am convinced that travelling is significantly important for students rather than work experience, because it broaden students minds and it helps to try different cultures and lifestyles.
