First of all, almost all the students get to universities being exactly aware what profession they are going to study for and spend several years to get their diploma in this direction, which is qualifying their professionalism. It is much different from schools where pupils study lots of sciences at the same time, trying to find the exact areas they are good in. Therefore, students study the subjects which are actually related to their future qualification. It will provide them the chance to find a good job as rapid as possible after finishing university since good specialists are always highly required, so paying time and attention only to main subjects is more essential than a massive number of students students might think.
On the other hand, some people are still not sure about theit future professions and want to try themselves in many other aspects rather than concentrating only on their main subjects. That is why universities should start giving their students a choice about in what exact way they want to move on and also let them to change their mind at any time even through it demands lots of energy and time from both universities and students. Likewise, universities may try a system where the first- and second-year students time to think and “experiment” about their exact directions and let them learn the other subjects with main ones. Meanwhile, the third- and forth-year students which already have experience and at least slightly know about thir desires should have a chance to choose between either keep learning other sciences or start concentrating only on main ones.
In conclusions, it is highly important to prvide the students all the circumstances when it comes to such significant things like learning other subjects or study only the ones they choose themselves as it is straight about their future.
