It is argued that participating in open-air activities has more significance to children than being indulged in video games. This essay totally agrees with that statement and it will further explain two main reasons for this, which are physical and mental health improvement and negative consequences of video game addiction.
Children who often engage in outdoor activities have been shown to develop enhanced physical and mental strength. These activities help improve muscle strength and flexibility, and they also contribute to better relaxation and reduced stress levels. As a result, children who spend time outdoors tend to be healthier, more energetic, and emotionally balanced. I am an example of this myself. I often participate in sports activities such as playing football and I found out that they help me maintain a healthy lifestyle. After spending time outdoors, I always feel more refreshed and less anxious. Now I made it a habit routine because it helps me relieve my stress and recharge my batteries after a long day at school.
Spending too much time playing video games has become a serious issue for many young people today. These games can be highly addictive, causing players to spend long hours in front of a screen. This often leads to a lack of sleep, poor concentration, and difficulty focusing on schoolwork. This happened to my close friend. He became so indulged in online games that he started ignoring his studies and being less interested in spending time with his family and friends. Eventually, he has struggled with his grades and even feels disconnected with his real life. Now he regrets paying all attention to playing video games.
In conclusion, spending time for video games is less important than outdoor activities because of the positive effects of open-air activities with both mental and physical health and the drawbacks of being addicted to online games.
