The cost of tickets for live games has skyrocketed, making it difficult for the average sports fan to afford them. In the name of entertainment, organizers are generating significant profits without addressing the underlying issues. Moreover, problems like match-fixing have raised serious concerns. Sports should be conducted as a source of entertainment, not a platform for unethical practices. Additionally, such significant financial investments in match-fixing have led nations to stand against one another.
In conclusion, although sports have successfully brought people together, they have, over time, lost their true purpose and seem solely focused on financial gain and economic benefits. In my opinion, sports should remain a source of fun and entertainment for people of all classes rather than being treated as a strategic investment for the wealthy.
