The instructors provide more understandings and knowledge to students in educational institutions such as schools and universities compared to alternative sources including the internet, libraries and televisions. I completely agree with this statement, and in the following paragraphs, I will justify my views with relevant instances.
Fundamentally, the primary reason behind why teachers play more important roles than the internet, libraries and TV is about personalized instructions. This can be explained by the fact that tutors have the ability to tailor their teaching methods for the students according to their individual needs which leads to a higher level of understanding for each pupils. For instance, during my math session, a few of my classmates did not understand the same lesson, Probability. My teacher, however, tried to recognize each student’s problems , so he could use different ways to explain them one by one depending on their own doubts until they all comprehended.
Interactive learning environment is also a determining factor that tutees receive from instructors. This is due to fact that interaction between teachers and students fosters meaningful class participation and collaborative learning experiences. As a result of this, tutors facilitate discussions, ask questions, and even encourage the critical thinking which is not easily found from alternative sources like internet, libraries and TV. To provide an instance, in 2020, Cambodia was in lockdown because of Covid-19 which shifts the learning pattern from physical classes to e-learning and made most students unable to catch up on their lessons or even failed to study by themselves as they did not get enough interaction between them and teachers.
In conclusion, pupils get more comprehension from their tutors than other means like the internet, libraries and TV due to the teachers’ ability of providing personal methods of teaching and the professional ways of associating with students.
