This policy is based on the belief that education should be accessible to everyone. The government aims to invest in talented individuals, preparing them for employment and contributing to society by covering their educational costs.
However, some believe that the government should not pay for students’ education. According to a survey conducted in the UK, 67% of people believe that UK universities are a good way to generate revenue from students. This suggests that universities play an essential role in the country’s GDP and help to boost the economy. Additionally, education is considered a personal decision and is viewed by some as having no significant positive impact on society.
In my opinion, the benefits of education are not only for individuals but also have various effects on society. By supporting students and covering their costs, they can focus solely on their studies without worrying about financial issues. Furthermore, these individuals, one day, once they graduate, will be prepared to contribute to society.
